Last updated: September 2026. These terms govern Cibola 8 under German law. Membership payments are also subject to Patreon’s terms.
1. Provider and scope
These terms apply to Cibola 8 at https://cibola.world and https://app.cibola.world. By signing in or using the service you accept them. Patreon does not replace these rules for the app itself (AI use, content, abuse).
2. Service
Cibola 8 provides AI-assisted tools for virtual tabletops / Foundry VTT as a digital service / software access. Features may change; model availability depends on third-party providers.
3. Account and payment via Patreon (current)
Access uses Patreon OAuth. Memberships, prices, invoices, cancellation, and payment methods currently run through Patreon (patreon.com/Cibola). We unlock access based on membership status reported by Patreon.
4. Digital service and immediate use
Membership and AI use are digital content / digital services. Generated outputs and consumed usage cannot be “returned.” That does not automatically cancel the statutory withdrawal right — see the withdrawal notice. For membership payments, the disclosures in Patreon checkout control.
5. Optional mana purchases
Additional mana packs via a Merchant of Record (e.g. Lemon Squeezy) may be enabled later. Until then, Patreon is the only payment path.
6. AI content and acceptable use
- Use only lawfully; do not infringe others’ rights or break the law.
- You are responsible for content you generate or publish.
- NSFW-filter disablement requires explicit acceptance and is adults-only.
- AI outputs can be wrong — review before use.
7. Content rights
To the extent permitted by law, you grant Cibola 8 the rights needed to host, back up, and deliver content. Public gallery/pack visibility is controlled in the product.
8. Availability and liability
No warranty of uninterrupted availability. Liability for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected. For slight negligence, only essential contractual duties and foreseeable typical damage, as far as allowed.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. Patreon membership follows Patreon rules. We may suspend for breaches or abuse. Account erasure (via our contact email) removes your content from Cibola as described in the privacy notice. Unused mana is forfeited on erasure and does not create a refund claim. Re-registration after erasure may not receive a fresh free-mana allowance.
